Lukas Franciszkiewicz (1987) is a London-based designer, researcher and founding member of
Takram London, a design studio formed in 2015.

After studying Industrial Design in his native Germany, he joined the Royal College of Art in London. He received his MA in Design Interactions at the RCA in 2014. Lukas uses design to explore alternative ideas about everyday life to those put forward by the market. His projects range from industry-based products to speculative design proposals, always aiming for a design that avoids the limitations of specialisation and standardisation – a design that is based on intelligence rather than rationality.
